Terms of Service
These are the rules for using Snap Call. Plain version: it is a game played with virtual chips that are not money and never turn into money, you must be an adult, and if you cheat we will close your account.
Who can play
You must be 18 or over. The app asks you to confirm this before you play, and we may close any account we believe belongs to someone younger.
You may hold one account. Running several accounts to play yourself, to feed chips between them, or to get bonuses more than once is not allowed.
Chips are not money
Chips are a virtual item inside the game. They have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred to another person, sold, or redeemed for money, goods or services — not by us and not by anyone else. There is no prize, and nothing you win is payable outside the game. Snap Call is entertainment, not gambling.
You do not own your chips. Buying chips buys you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the app, for as long as the app runs. Success at this game does not imply future success at real money gambling.
Buying chips
Purchases are handled by Google Play, under Google's own terms. We never see your card details. Chips are delivered as soon as Google confirms the payment.
Purchases are final. Because chips are delivered immediately and consumed in play, they cannot be returned once spent. If something went wrong — you were charged twice, or chips never arrived — request a refund through Google Play, or write to us and we will look into it.
Prices and the chips each pack contains can change. What you see at the moment you buy is what you get.
Playing fair
These will get your account closed:
- Sharing your cards with another player at the same table, or agreeing with them how to play against a third (collusion).
- Using software to play for you, to read the screen, or to compute odds during a game.
- Modifying the app, or interfering with the servers, so it reports something other than what happened.
- Sitting at a table with a second account you also control.
- Buying, selling or trading accounts, chips or invite codes for money.
- Names, emoji or chat that harass other players or impersonate us.
If we close your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. When that happens, any chips on it are forfeited. Since chips are not money and are never paid out, there is nothing to refund.
You can close your own account at any time from inside the app. The same applies: remaining chips, bought or earned, are forfeited. If you have bought chips recently and want a refund instead, ask Google Play before you delete.
The game itself
Cards are dealt by the server from a random shuffle. The whole deal for a hand is fixed before any action is taken on it, so it cannot be changed by how the hand goes.
We take a small share of some pots (a rake). Nothing is taken from a game that ends before the flop. How the rake works.
We may change how the game works, add or remove features, adjust bonuses and prices, or stop running the service. If we shut the service down for good we will say so in the app first. Chips are not refunded on shutdown.
Things that can go wrong
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep games correct and servers up, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If a game is disrupted by a fault on our side we will try to restore the correct chip balances; that is the extent of what we can put right.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous six months.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the display name and emoji you choose. You give us permission to show them to other players in the app. We can remove a name that breaks the fair-play rules above.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the version at the top and ask you to accept them again in the app. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of India.
